To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Allegany County Fairgrounds opening its gates, the Cumberland Times-News and Allegany Magazine will present “Fairgo Forever! 100 Years of the Allegany County Fairgrounds.” The hardcover, coffee-table book will embrace the scheduled and serendipitous events that the county fairgrounds has offered over the past century. Photos taken by the Times-News, the fairgrounds staff and the community are being carefully chosen to chronicle events. Residents will have memories and photos of families included as well!

From horse racing to stock cars, from concerts to all the county fairs, the book will offer the fairgrounds’ experience in pictures and prose. This hardcover book will take you on a photographic stroll down the Fairgrounds’ midway showcasing historic images of this beloved icon, sharing how it has transformed over the years and proudly served the community.
